Hospital Visits
Do you have an upcoming surgery? know someone who has been in the hospital? Let us know! In the past Reid would let us know when a member was ill but they no longer do so. We would love to come visit and pray with you but we need to know first. If you or someone you know is ever in need of a visit please contact the church office at 765-962-8543

Prayer Walk
Prayer connects us daily to a loving God moving in our midst. In his 3 rules for Methodists, John Wesley calls us to both private and public prayer. On August 2nd at noon, we will have a prayer walk through our neighborhood. We will meet by the Welcome Center, divide into small groups at the entrance of the church, and proceed in different directions. Along the way, we will pause to pick up trash and renew our streets and sidewalks. Together we will listen for God’s will for Central for the days ahead.

Emergency Relief Room

We are now accepting donations of small furniture items. Things such as dressers, dinette sets, coffee tables, end tables, bed frames, children desks book cases, etc. At this time we are not accepting bulky things such as couches, love seats, and recliners, but we would like to know of anything of this nature that might be available. No mattresses. At times we may need to pick these items up from the donor. With that in mind, we are looking for individuals who may have a pickup truck and would be willing, on occasion, to assist with such pickups. If you would be willing to be involved in this ministry in this manner, please contact Dana Mollenkopf at 765-277-0287 or papamole@comcast.net.

Welcoming Pastor Phil

If you feel so led, please take some time and write a note of welcome and share some of the great things about Richmond and Central with Pastor Phil. You can drop these cards off in the office. Central will be having a welcome luncheon for Pastor Phil on August 1st. This will be a potluck pitch-in, for more information please contact Jennifer Seger.

Bread Basket

Nettie Cates and Becky Shaw have been leaders of the meals for quite some time. They would like to hand over leadership at the end of this year. They would like for 2 new leaders to step up and take over. The responsibility involves planning the meal each month, shopping for the items needed to prepare the meals, preparing the meals with the help of regular volunteers, serving the meals, and help clean up after the meal. If you are interested in taking on this role, please contact Becky Shaw or Nettie Cates.

Then, on August 15, as we hear about the missions trip, we will also share prayers of blessing over backpacks, school supplies, and face masks. All students are invited to bring these to service August 15. Please be in prayer for the new school year and all the amazing things our students will discover this year!
