Developing a Mentorship Model for Youth

UNITED WOMWN IN FAITH
UWF will take a summer break. There will be no UWF meetings in June, July, or August. UWF will resume in the fall, when we will elect and install our officers and have a memorial service for those women who have passed in 2022 and 2023. Mark your calendar for Thursday, Sept. 14 at 1:00, in Fellowship Hall. ALL women are welcome.
TRIBE at Scene 75
Tribe will be traveling to Dayton, OH to spend an afternoon gaming and playing at the one and only Scene 75 on July 1st! For those who don’t know, it is a massive facility with a huge selection of arcade games, with a go-karts course, Laser tag arena, mini- bowling lanes, sand volleyball area, 4D Theater, 2 mini golf courses, a homerun zone and an indoor roller-coaster called “the Tsunami”. This invitation is to all tribe members and their families, and extends to the 5-6th graders as well. We will be leaving 11am on Saturday July 1st (from Central United to Dayton and back) and will be returning around 4pm. Interested in going please sign up online by contacting myself at Stephen@Richmondcumc.com or on the sign-up sheet at your church. Lastly, we are also in need of chaperones as well, please contact Stephen if you are interested.
First Sunday Choir
First Sunday Choir is an ad hoc group offering music for our summer worship services on first Sundays. Choir call next Sunday (July 2) is 9:30am in the Choir Room; all interested singers are welcome. If you have questions, please contact Frederick (Fred) Chatfield at (937) 478-9208.
Attendance
Those of you who have been around for a while may remember signing your name on the attendance pads on Sunday mornings. We stopped this practice during the pandemic and feel it is time to bring it back! Starting July 9th, we will have attendance pads on the pews for you to “sign in.” By doing this, it will help us know who is here and who we need to reach out too.
