Red Cross Blood Drive
There were thirty-nine people who kept their appointments at the blood drive held at Central United Methodist Church on Thursday, May 5th. When all was said and done, thirty-six units of blood were collected. A BIG thanks to those who donated. The need for blood is always great.

May is Foster Care Awareness Month.
Please be in prayer for Families affected by Foster Care this month. Central has a long history of coming alongside foster and adoptive families. If you feel led to come alongside Foster Families, to become a Foster Family, to become a CASA, or to just support the youth/parents of our community, please email or call Pastor Joseph (joseph@richmondcumc.com).

EMBRACE
June 24, 2022 6:30pm-8:30pm & June 25, 2022 10am-4pm $40 (Scholarships Available) All over the world, people have difficulty sharing their faith. They can share about their love for their children, or their excitement about a new movie or restaurant, but sharing about their faith feels much harder. Yet evangelism, at its core is not a rigid set of techniques to be mastered. Rather, it is simply showing and sharing the love of Jesus.
Embrace offers a way to think about evangelism that can help people become comfortable showing and sharing the love of Jesus in a way that is authentic and natural. It sets out six essential values that lie at the heart of authentic faith-sharing: humility, clarity, prayer, integrity, worship, and urgency. These values remain constant no matter where in the world we live. Our practices may change from place to place and time to time, but no matter where we are or what kind of culture we live in, these values form the foundation for everything we do to show and share the love of Jesus. Working through these essential values enables Christ followers to connect their personal experience of faith with a holistic understanding of the gospel in a way that restores their confidence and responsiveness to the Holy Spirit as they show and share the love of Jesus in their daily lives and in their trusting relationships.
