Youth Director
This month of December, Tribe is going to focus on being a presence that reflects the joy of Jesus in the Present. In months past, we have read and learned about the greatness of our God, and through our faith, we have lifted up prayers to Him knowing who He is.
In November, we focused on the next step of building our faith, which is doing “risk-taking” service for others. To celebrate, we participated in the Operation Christmas Child program by preparing Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes. Each of us prayed over the shoeboxes and the children that would receive them. I was blown away by the wonderful prayers that came out of this youth group, and I was so proud of each of them. We

concluded the month with a Food Service drive where Tribe members learned how to prepare a home-cooked meal. All of the food was then donated to a local Homeless Shelter.

1 Timothy 4:12 says “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example
for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

In this season of gift giving and presents, Tribe is going to focus on being a “gift of a contagious presence” in our community, churches, schools and families.

Lastly, Tribe will be having its annual Christmas party on December 17th. It’s open to the members of Tribe/Tribe 56 and their families. We will enjoy food, games, fellowship and fun as we celebrate all that the Lord has done for this remarkable group. The party will start @ 5pm and make sure to come dressed accordingly. There will be an ugly sweater contest! Hope to see you all there, and I’m so excited to see what God has instore for us in the New Year!
