Realm is an online ministry tool designed for real time connection. It helps our church connect with you and you connect with us. Realm allows you to manage your personal information and who is allowed to see it, control your giving, and keep in touch with the groups that matter to you. Join us in the Parlor today after worship to get your account set-up. Want to know more about Realm? Join us on Mondays and Thursdays in August from 10am – 11am where we will be available to answer any of your questions.
You, me, and God – bringing our hearts before our maker together at 1425 E Main in the Sanctuary for a half hour each week. In the midst of the uncertainty of 2020, we will be leaning into the knowledge of our God, and discerning where the Holy Spirit is leading Central in the days to come.
Tuesday August 18th @6:30pm. Bring your own chair, meat, favorite snack, cup, and sense of survival for this socially distant men’s gathering around the original social networking site – the campfire. A space for men to connect and converse and enjoy food while centering on Christ. At Jack Hughes’ 9876 St Rd 227 N, on the left north of Whitewater.

A great opportunity to escape to the woods of Brown County will come September 18-20. Families will have the opportunity to hike, challenge, shop, and experience all that Camp Moneto and Brown County have to offer. We realize not everyone will be able to participate at this time, so we will ask all to love and respect the social distance of any family who chooses to join. There are over 700 acres to socially distance effectively while having ample opportunity to gather safely for times of worship and fellowship. Come and join us in God’s good creation. For those interested, please email Pastor Joseph for more details and costs.

Prayer Walk Monday at Noon
Prayer connects us daily to a loving God moving in our midst. In his 3 rules for Methodists, John Wesley calls us to both private and public prayer. On the first Monday of every month at noon, we will have a prayer walk through our neighborhood. We will divide into small groups at the entrance of the church and proceed in different directions. Along the way, we will pause to pick up trash and renew our streets and sidewalks. Please contact Pastor Joseph with any questions. For those who cannot participate in this way, contact pastor Jen for alternative options.
Stuff the Bus
At the Annual Conference of the Indiana United Methodist Church each year a mission project is presented for all the Indiana churches to participate in. Last year we donated lap blankets to Brianna’s Hope and the previous year it was backpacks packed with personal health care products for the homeless.
This year our project is Stuff the Bus which follows the theme of this years conference “Children Matter Most”. However, due to COVID-19 and to avoid physically handling school supplies donations will be accepted and donated to the 10 Districts of the Indiana Conference.
To donate:
- Text the word “missional” to give to Children Matter Most, and the amount of your donation to 855-389-1555.
- Give online through Securegive at https://app.securegive.com/INUMC/-missional-offering.
- If you prefer to get a check to me, I will see that the conference gets it.
Thank you for participating in the Annual Conference mission project.

Realm
Our church uses a church record keeping solution called Realm®. It serves the administrative needs of our staff, and also offers some exciting opportunities to support the way you are involved in our church. Not only does this improve work life for our ministry staff, it makes it easier for our church members to connect with each other, keep up with what’s going on, and grow as a connected community of believers.
With Realm, everyone in our church gets a unique profile. Your profile contains everything you want people in our church to know about you. Your profile also enables you to join a small group, RSVP to events, track your giving, update your contact information, change family details, set notification preferences, or replace that outdated family photo. By keeping your information current, you are helping our staff, group leaders, and our church community. Your Profile includes: Contact Information* (e.g. name, address, email, and phone), Photo, Family Members, and Personal Information (e.g. marital status, birthday**, etc.) If you would like access to your account, contact the church office and be on the look out for some Realm informative sessions coming soon!
