24/7 Prayer Vigil for 2022

Our church (CUMC) will be participating in a round the clock prayer vigil for a city wide spiritual revival and renewal for the 2022 year. CUMC has selected the 28th of every month in 2022 to pray for our city during the upcoming year. We are looking for prayer warriors to join us for this 24/7 focus. Persons may sign up to pray for as little as 15 minutes or as long as each individual wishes. Prayer warriors may pray from home or workplace – it’s each person’s choice as to where to pray. Each participant will receive a letter and prayer guide. Thanks for each of you for joining us in this vigil for spiritual and community revival. Thanks be to God. Your 24/7 Prayer Initiative Team; Jan Hibner (765-277-3136) and Toni Reinke (765-969-6631)

Prayer-palooza!
Central is praying 2022 through. We are joining with other Richmond area churches in covering the year in prayer through the 24/7 prayer effort. Our date is the 28th of each month and there are still spots available for you to commit to such prayer. To kick off this time of prayer, you are invited to join us for a Prayer Gathering on January 20th at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. We will share stories of prayer, ways of prayer, questions about prayer, songs of prayer, and be in prayer together. Lord, hear our prayers.

Pickleball Starts Monday!

Cornerstone Sunday School Class
The Cornerstone class will begin to meet again on January 9 at 9:00am. We will be doing a 10 week study of the longest chapter of the Bible, Psalm 119. In difficult times we often wonder where is God in this? We will look at the words of King David who experienced similar seasons of life. Serving as the anchor for the study, Psalm 119 demonstrates the power of God’s Word in the lives of believers and its ability to provide a warm blanket for the soul. Please feel free to join us and if you have any questions contact Krissi Hughes at kristaannhughes@gmail.com.

Thank You!
I’d like to thank everyone for your prayers, cards, love, and support as I grieve over the loss of my mom. I take comfort in knowing she is resting with God in heaven. – Greg Scott
