CENTRAL
UNITED METHODIST PRESCHOOL

FROM THE PRESCHOOL
Have you ever seen twenty children sitting together quietly, listening
to a teacher read a story? Have you heard twenty children stand side by
side and quote Bible verses from memory? I know you have seen twenty children
running and screaming around a gym, laughing and tumbling down. These
and more are the sights and sounds of our Preschool. If you would like
to visit some day or volunteer to come and read a story to the children,
contact Tammy Hall, Pauline Torbeck, or Charlie Black. This vibrant ministry
of Central United Methodist Church is flourishing and the lives and families
of our children are being touched everyday. You can be a witness or a
volunteer. Call today to schedule your visit.
THE PARENT LINK
One of our newer ministries of the Christian Education Ministry Team is
a monthly newsletter to the parents of our school-aged children. theParentLink
and theParentLink, Children’s Edition are both monthly newsletters
focused on providing you, our parents, with news on current issues facing
our children, music trends, movie evaluations, and other relevant information.
If you have a child in school and have not been receiving this newsletter
each month, contact Charlie Black a the church office. theParentLink is
informative and enlightening; call today to receive your copy. Past issues
are available upon request.
CROCODILE DOCK…is
the theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School. Mark your calendar
now for the week of June 22-26. Once again this year
our VBS Leadership Team will be Debbie Jenkins, Betty Leach, Janene Van
Der Merwe and Dalene Wolmarans. Please lift this team up in prayer as
they work to make our VBS another successful ministry in 2009.
