Central United Methodist Church Music Ministries:

Read about our choirs below. All aim to enrich the Word of God through music and offers a unique small-group opportunity for faith formation through music! – Madeleine Demetriades, Minister of Music

 
Chancel Choir:
Leads congregational hymn singing and sings a weekly anthem each Sunday at the 10:00am service. We rehearse Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. All ages are welcome; no previous experience necessary! Director: Madeleine Demetriades.
 
God’s Way Praise Band:
God’s Way is made up of dedicated middle and high school students who meet at 4:00pm on Sunday afternoons to prepare for leading worship once a month. We are always looking for other talented young people to join and lead with them. If you sing or play an instrument, please let Madeleine know so we can find a role for you in God’s Way! Director: Madeleine Demetriades.
 
Wesley Ringers Bell Choir:
Prepares monthly special music using hand bells and hand chimes. Previous experience helpful but not necessary. We rehearse Wednesday nights at 5:00pm. Participate in periodical festivals/concerts. Director: Madeleine Demetriades.
 
Joysingers:
This group is for preschool-aged kids who wish to learn about singing, and making a joyful noise in God’s name! We prepare monthly special music and meet Thursdays at 4:00pm. Led by Kathy Robinson and Debbie Jenkins.
